The Deputy Sheriff’s Association of Bexar County Benefit Fund, doing business as ACT, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving Bexar County. ACT’s community-based programs provide assistance to Bexar County Sheriff’s Deputies and their families and also provide much-needed services and support to underserved members of our community. ACT is made possible by funding from the Deputy Sheriff’s Association of Bexar County and by contributions from corporate partners, local small businesses, and citizens, like you.
Danielle Haywood Director of ACT
Danielle Haywood is the Director of ACT. Born and raised in Prescott, AZ, Danielle joined the U.S. Army as a Mental Health Specialist in 2007. After her service in the Army, Danielle moved to San Antonio, where she has lived for 14 years. She has two children, Joshua (13) and Jazmyn (10).
Danielle’s professional background includes an array of leadership roles in various industries, including retail, multifamily property management, and nonprofits. Danielle’s experience includes strategy and marketing, public relations, government relations, and public policy.
Danielle holds positions on the Board of Directors for several local non-profit organizations. She is actively involved in the community and spends her free time volunteering in various capacities.
